Explore the biodiversity at the University Farm Saturday, April 29, from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
During the CWRU Farm Biodiversity Challenge, participants will walk the trails at the University Farm and use the free biodiversity app, iNaturalist, to document plants, animals and fungi. No previous experience is required. There will be demonstrations on how to use iNaturalist to document and identify the living organisms in the environment around you.
All observations made at the University Farm will be added to Cleveland’s entry into the City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge is a friendly global competition to document biodiversity in regions around the world.
Free transportation from campus to the University Farm is available for Case Western Reserve University students, but seats are limited.
