Five members of the Case Western Reserve University community are participating in the production of The Flick at Dobama Theatre.
Christopher Bohan, visiting assistant professor of theater, and Paige Klopfenstein, a 2016 graduate in nursing and theater, are members of the cast. Meanwhile, Jill Davis, assistant professor of theater is the set designer; Shanna Beth Magee, associate professor of theater, is the dialect coach; and 2012 graduate Christine Wood is the props designer.
The show is described as:
“In a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts, three underpaid employees mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state. Their tiny battles and not-so-tiny heartbreaks play out in the empty aisles, becoming more gripping than the movies on screen.”
The production will run March 3–26.
Tickets are $29–32, with senior and student discounts available. Call the box office at 216.932.3396.
