Case Western Reserve University’s Class of 2016 certainly is in good company, looking back on the university’s notable alumni.
Among our outstanding alums is Julie L. Gerberding, who graduated with both an undergraduate degree (1977) and a medical degree (1981) from Case Western Reserve University. Gerberding—the answer to this week’s trivia question—went on to direct the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2002-2009. Today, Gerberding, who is a university trustee, is executive vice president of strategic communications, global public policy and population health at Merck.
