Critical Conversation No. 7: Climate change

Institutions of higher education are uniquely positioned to engage in difficult dialogue. Universities are places where individuals should feel safe to discuss complex issues, while feeling heard and respected.

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join Provost Ben Vinson III Wednesday, March 22, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom A, for a Critical Conversations panel discussion exploring climate change.

The panel will address the topic from multiple perspectives, including the legal, policy, community and economic implications of the subject. Light refreshments will be provided.

The panelists will be:

  • Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law and director of the Coleman P. Burke Center for Environmental Law at the School of Law;
  • Stephanie Corbett, director of energy, sustainability and the University Farm;
  • Chris Laszlo, professor of organizational behavior at Weatherhead School of Management, distinguished visiting scholar at Benedictine University, and visiting professor at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
