Conversation on the Global Peace Index

Join Michelle Breslauer, program director of the Institute for Economics and Peace, for a conversation about the 2017 findings of the Global Peace Index (GPI) and the attitudes, institutions and structures needed to build a more peaceful society.

GPI is the world’s leading measure of global peacefulness and conflict in 163 countries around the world.

The Social Justice Institute will host the discussion Wednesday, June 14, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room A13.

This event is free and open to the community. Drinks and desserts will be provided.

Breslauer holds a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and has significant experience managing complex communication strategies on an international scale, including a tenure at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, working with New York City’s 2012 Olympic bid and consulting for humanitarian initiatives.
