Connect Trivia: WRUW-FM 91.1

The campus radio station, WRUW-FM 91.1, has been a fixture on campus for decades. Since its inception, the Case Western Reserve radio station has broadcast out of the basement of Mather Memorial Building.

On Monday, the anniversary of the station’s creation (Feb. 26), we asked if you knew which year it first broadcasted. Just over 30 percent of respondents knew the answer: 1967.

Most respondents knew that the station started in the 1960s, even if they didn’t guess the right year.

To listen to WRUW, tune in to 91.1 FM or visit wruw.org to stream.
