graduating students at commencement

Viewing locations to be available on commencement day

Commencement will take place Sunday, May 20. Graduating students should make sure their guests know where to go to view the ceremony. A map of all sites, parking and viewing locations is available at case.edu/commencement/guests/maps-shuttles-parking.

Commencement day includes the university-wide convocation, followed by eight separate diploma ceremonies. Only four of the ceremonies require tickets: the University Convocation, Undergraduate Diploma Ceremony, Weatherhead School of Management Diploma Ceremony and School of Law Diploma Ceremony. Tickets are not required for graduates themselves, only for their guests.

For guests without tickets, the University Convocation and Undergraduate Diploma Ceremony will be live broadcast in several auxiliary viewing locations on campus. Commencement programs will be provided at each site, and all auxiliary viewing locations will use large-screen video projection, providing a view of the ceremony. Most auxiliary viewing locations are auditorium style seating, and all seating is general admission.

Ceremonies are also streamed online via a live webcast.
