The law school will honor the late Edward A. Mearns Jr., a faculty member for nearly 25 years, with a memorial service Tuesday, Oct. 22. Several of his former colleagues and students will offer tributes to the late emeritus professor, who passed away July 3. The Case Western Reserve Law Review will publish these tributes in an upcoming volume.
The memorial program will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Room 158. A reception will follow.
Faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university are invited to attend this program. In addition, all are invited to offer personal memories of Mearns.
Thoughts should be submitted to Associate Dean Jonathan Entin, who is coordinating the program, at 216.368.3321 or at jonathan.entin@case.edu.
