“Caring for Children Age 10 and Younger in the Context of Chronic Stress”

Parents can do a great deal to help their children manage the frustration, disappointment and emotional stress caused by COVID-19. To help faculty and staff with this, the Wellness Program will host psychologist Lisa Damour for a session titled “Caring for Children Age 10 and Younger in the Context of Chronic Stress” Tuesday, June 23, at noon via Zoom.

During this session, Damour will summarize findings from decades of research on young people who, thanks to protective factors that can be cultivated at home, flourished under conditions of on-going adversity.
