“Career Opportunities and Resume Writing for Humanities Majors”

The Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities’ Humanities@Work program connects CWRU humanities students with corporate, government, nonprofit and other partners through community discussions, networking events and paid career opportunities (internship, practicum, etc.).

As part of the program, the center will host an event titled “Career Opportunities and Resume Writing for Humanities Majors” Friday, Feb. 3, at noon in Clark Hall, Room 206.

At the event, different career opportunities will be presented.

In addition, Sylvia Marrero, assistant director for student outreach at the Career Center, will provide a general overview for creating effective resumes and discuss other important aspects of career planning for humanities majors.
