Bon Appétit Management Co. offers menu adjustments for Ramadan

In preparation for Ramadan, Bon Appétit Management Co. has been working closely with student groups on campus to meet the needs of students.

To accommodate Suhoor and Iftar for students practicing Ramadan, Bon Appétit will open Leutner and Fribley Commons at 6:30 a.m., featuring student-requested fast-breaking items and a continental breakfast. During dinner service, there will be rotating weekly concepts at the Simply Oasis stations, such as shawarma and Mediterranean-style bowls. Fresh Table and From the Field, the plant-forward stations at Leutner and Fribley, will feature hummus and pita as well as a rotation of prepared salads. 

Students who are on a meal plan are also encouraged to take advantage of the USEFULL to-go containers so they can take food from the dining halls to have available at sunrise and sundown.

Bon Appétit worked with the Muslim Student Association, the Pakistani Student Association, the African Student Association and the Middle Eastern Cultural Association to prepare the Ramadan offerings.
