BIPOC Support Space sessions being offered in May

University Health and Counseling Services is offering several BIPOC Support Space sessions in May.

BIPOC Support Space sessions are scheduled, 30-minute, one-on-one, Zoom or in-person consultations with multicultural specialist Naomi Drakeford.

The BIPOC Support Space is helpful for students who are:

  • Looking for a space to talk;
  • Needing input on a mental health concern;
  • Searching for a safe outlet to discuss experiences on campus and beyond; or
  • Seeking support in response to recent incidents of racial violence.

The sessions are available to students at CWRU, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Institute of Music and Kent State University’s Podiatry program regardless of where they may currently reside.

All sessions are private and confidential. The Zoom link will be sent after registration.
