Big Brothers Big Sisters Orientation Event

Students interested in getting involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters are invited to an orientation event Thursday, Sept. 8, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Pioneer Room of Wade Commons.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national youth mentoring organization with a chapter right here at Case Western Reserve University. This site-based program seeks to provide children with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better.

Students at CWRU (bigs) volunteer their time with a student from Mound Elementary (littles) once a week at the same time in a designated location.

As bigs, students serve as role models and a mentors to their littles, providing the proper guidance and support to help them reach their potential.

Those interested in becoming a big or helping with the club, are encouraged to attend the orientation event to learn more about the organizations.

Email odu@case.edu with any questions.
