Those who want to try Cycle Hip-Hop or Urban Beats classes at Next Level Fitness Studio can attend a workshop to improve their skills Friday, March 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Cycle Hip-Hop classes directly connect the rhythm of the music with the pace of the exercise. This class, titled “Beginner’s Guide to Cycle Hip-Hop,” is designed to introduce participants to the nuances of indoor cycling. The instructor will cover proper bike set-up, use of resistance levels through a variety of speeds and popular cycle moves in a detailed and slower-paced fashion. After this instruction, the workshop will end with a high-energy ride—designed specifically for beginners—set to urban beats, hip-hop and R&B hits.
