Two weeks of classes left; begin preparing for final exams now

With spring break in the rearview mirror, students are advised to begin planning for their final exam schedule and plans for the summer.

Students should consult their course syllabi and the final exam schedule in SIS before finalizing plans for leaving campus. Final exam dates will not be altered to accommodate travel plans.

Students can review the exam schedule by choosing “Exam Schedule” from the drop-down menu left of their schedule on the main Student Center page. If there are any discrepancies between what is posted in SIS and what is listed on their syllabus, students should clarify it with their instructor.

No student will be required to take more than two final examinations on a single day, and students who have two exams scheduled at the same time will need to have one of them rescheduled. Undergraduate Studies staff will be in touch with students who are impacted by either of the aforementioned situations in early April to begin the process of resolving conflicts.

Important End-of-Semester Dates:

  • April 27—Last day of class, First-year deadline to withdraw from a class or elect the pass/no pass grading option.
Note for second year students and upper class students: The deadline to withdraw from a course or elect the pass/no pass grading option was March 27.
  • April 28 and 29—Reading days
  • April 30—Final exams begin
  • May 7—Final exams end
