Barnes and Noble on campus to sell university farm products

Plants grow indoors and out at the university farm.

The Barnes and Noble university bookstore will now carry herbs, honey, rosemary and lavender, all from the university farm.

Rosemary, thyme, oregano and basil will be sold at $2.50 per ounce, honey will be sold for $2, and rosemary and lavender will be sold for $4.

The farm uses no herbicides, and organic fertilizers are used as alternatives to traditional quick-release chemical fertilizers and instead of chemical insecticides.
