Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning will host an upcoming remote lecture, “Badges of Leadership: Instilling a Culture of Excellence,” Friday, Nov. 20, from noon to 1 p.m. (EST).
Beachwood native Shelley Zimmerman recently retired as the first woman police chief of a major American City. In her lecture, Zimmerman will speak about her tenure as police chief, during which she witnessed San Diego’s overall crime falling to its lowest level in 49 years. She will discuss the authentic leadership principles she instituted and why public safety must be a shared responsibility.
