Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host a remote lecture titled “The Trends and Controversies of American Jewry” Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m.
Shaul Kelner, associate professor of sociology and Jewish studies at Vanderbilt University, studies birthright Israel trips, Jewish teens and young adults, and Jewish day schools. He is a nuanced and sophisticated observer of contemporary American Jewish life and will share his insights during the lecture.
