If you have ever suffered with back pain, you know how critical a healthy back is for everyday movements and overall quality of life.
Members of the campus community are invited to a workshop that will teach participants how to actively maintain a healthy back and spine so that they have the best chance of living pain free.
This specialized workshop will include:
- Postural analysis
- Ergonomics from beds and pillows to workspaces
- Stability and strength exercises for the core
- Yoga and relaxation techniques
- Genetics: what we have received and learned from our parents
- What we can change and how we can live with what we have.
This workshop will be held at One to One Fitness Center Saturday, May 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Membership is not required.
