CWRU student organization Art Forward will be featured in an art display and fundraiser at the Coffee House at University Circle from Sunday, Feb. 23 through Monday, April 27.
Art Forward is a student-run organization that connects CWRU students with youth at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center to work on art projects and promote interpersonal skills. Art Forward aims to raise a scholarship fund for a local member of the community who was in the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center and expresses interest in attending university.
All art featured in the display is for sale and created by members of Art Forward, and proceeds from sales will go to the youth’s scholarship fund.
