Student working at graduate student carrel at Kelvin Smith LibraryGraduate students can begin submitting their applications for the study carrels available at Kelvin Smith Library.

The carrels, located on the main floor near the journal shelving and on the third floor in the Quiet Reading Room and along the perimeter of the bookshelves, offer graduate students a place to work quietly and keep personal study items. Each carrel features two locking bins to store materials, a mounted task light and electrical outlets.

Applications for carrel assignments will be reviewed beginning Wednesday, Sept. 14. Winners can choose and check out their carrels for this academic year. Keys will be due back Friday, Aug. 11, 2017.
