Almost Home for the Holidays: What Does Home Mean to You?

The Class Officer Collective invites first-years and sophomores to the Almost Home for the Holidays: What Does Home Mean to You? event Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Thwing Center. The first-year and sophomore classes have so much diversity, and the Class Officer Collective hopes to highlight the different places students hail from to promote education during the event.

During the event, students can participate in a white elephant gift exchange. Those planning to participate should come with a gift worth no more than $10. There also will be an interactive map to show where students are from and an opportunity to make cards for veterans or family members.

Giveaways will include earmuffs, blankets, and mugs, among some other holiday items.

There will be soups from Panera Bread and sandwiches from Jimmy Johns, as well as macaroni and cheese.

Holiday gear is encouraged, but not required.

Register for the event.
