AfroFit Dance Workshop

Members of the community are invited to join Waluma Fofung, a former dancer and choreographer for TRYBE Dance based in New York City, for an AfroFit Dance Workshop Saturday, June 29, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Next Level Fitness Studio.

While keeping participants up to speed with the latest moves and sounds coming out of Africa, Fofung will share ways to build stamina and stay active. This class will integrate popular dance styles—including the shaku and gwara gwara—into vigorous workouts leaving participants thinking of them as fun dance routines.

Everyone is welcome in this highly energetic experience; no experience is necessary. Attendees should dress comfortably and come ready to move.

Students can pre-register for $7, or pay $10 at the door. For all others, pre-registration is $10, while the cost at the door is $15. Next Level Fitness Studio members always save 10 percent.

Space is limited. Register for the workshop now.
