African American Read-In

The African American Read-In, an annual nationwide event held during Black History Month, celebrates great writing by African Americans.

Case Western Reserve University will hold an African American Read-In Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Clark Hall, Room 206.

Students, staff and faculty will read works by their favorite African American writers.

Members of the community are encouraged to sign up to read their favorite poem, essay, song, novel, excerpt, monologue or other work. All members of the community are invited to come to listen to others read.

AfroAm, the Writing Program, the Department of English and Writers House are sponsoring this event and the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities will host.
