Information Technology Services (ITS) will upgrade Adobe Connect (connect.case.edu) to version 9.3 on Friday, Dec. 26, between noon and 3 p.m. Adobe Connect will be unavailable to users for the duration of the upgrade. This maintenance replaces work that was scheduled to occur on Monday, Dec. 22.
This upgrade will ensure the ongoing reliability of this important service, as well as introduce new features and interface enhancements. Users will notice a new “Film Strip Mode” for video conferencing, which positions one main video (e.g., the video of the speaker) above the other videos in the conference. The upgrade improves screen sharing by allowing the presenter to preview windows and applications before sharing them.
