The Acclaimed Authors Summer Luncheon Series 2017 concludes with a talk by Mimi Ormond, author of Kinderstransport: A Rescued Child.
Her talk will be held Friday, Aug. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Skating Club (2500 Kemper Road).
Ormond’s book describes her escape from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia in the months just before World War II.
Admission to the event is $35 for Association for Continued Education (ACE) members and $40 for nonmembers.
