Access Services sells monthly RTA passes pre-tax for employees

Through the Commuter Advantage program, faculty and staff members can purchase monthly RTA passes via payroll deduction. The payroll deduction option means the expense for the pass will be paid with pre-tax dollars; this can provide employees with a tax benefit of up to $200 per year. Participants must be on payroll for 30 days to be eligible for payroll deduction.

The Monthly Express/Local RTA pass is available for $85, and the monthly Park-n-Ride pass is $95. Passes must be purchased by the last business day of the previous month.

RTA bus passes for seniors (age 65 and over) or those who have disabilities are available for $38 per month. Individuals must qualify with RTA as a senior or a person with a disability and will need to have an RTA-issued senior/disabled ID card to purchase the pass through Access Services. To obtain an ID card, call 216.566.5285, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
