“A Multi-Disciplinary Conversation about Gender-Affirming Care”

Friday, Oct. 11, is LGBT+ National Coming Out Day. Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to a Virtual Inclusive Talk And Lecture Series event titled “A Multi-Disciplinary Conversation about Gender-Affirming Care” Oct. 11 from noon to 1 p.m. in Samson Pavilion, Room 176 (tiered lecture hall).

This event is meant to set the record straight on gender-affirming care—medically necessary, safe healthcare backed by decades of research and supported by every major medical association, representing over 1.3 million U.S. doctors.

Jason Lambrese, assistant dean of student affairs and the Gerberding Society at the School of Medicine, will moderate a discussion among panelists from four affiliate hospitals, covering a variety of medical specialties.

Following the panel discussion, Caitlin Blaskewicz from Cleveland Clinic will present “Taking A Comprehensive Sexual History Workshop.” Register for Blaskewicz’s talk.

This event is free and a light meal will be served.

Register to attend.
