A memorial service for first-year student Justine Boyle will be held this Friday, April 5, in the Amasa Stone Chapel.
Organized by Case Catholic Campus Ministry with support from the Interreligious Council, the 12:45 p.m. service is open to all members of the Case Western Reserve community. Leaders from various religious and spiritual traditions will remain after the roughly 30-minute service for those who might like to speak informally with them.
Boyle, 18, died off campus Tuesday, March 19. She was from Dallastown, Pennsylvania, and one of five children, all daughters. A classics and English major, she had just returned from a spring break trip to Greece that was part of a classics department course regarding Athens and Socrates. Her family has asked that donations in her memory go to the classics department; contributions in her name can be made online.
