Graduate students interested in the role of science in policy-making can apply for sponsorship to attend the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Catalyzing Advocacy in Science and Engineering Workshop. Attendees will learn effective science communication for civic engagement and meet with members of Congress to discuss science policy.
The Graduate Studies Professional Development Center will sponsor one chosen graduate student to attend the workshop, which will take place Sunday, March 24, through Wednesday, March 27, in Washington, D.C.
