The Korean American Student Association and Korean Student Association will table in Tinkham Veale University Center Monday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to discuss the Sewol ferry tragedy with students, staff and faculty.
The Sewol ferry tragedy was a disaster that spurred controversy in the Korean government after a ferry sank April 16, 2014, killing 304, many of them high school students.
The organizations will give out yellow ribbons and informational fliers about this tragedy throughout the day in order to spread awareness.
