Join Pi Beta Phi and Phi Kappa Psi for their second annual Education Week Monday, Sept. 26, to Saturday, Oct. 1.
All week, the organizations will spread awareness about education both locally and nationally while raising money for three education-based organizations: The Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, Read > Lead > Achieve, and the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank.
The schedule of events is:
- Monday, Sept. 26: Members will pass out lemonade on the Binary Walkway at 10 a.m. while supplies last.
- Monday, Sept. 26, and Wednesday, Sept. 28: They will host a Dr. Seuss Bake Sale in Nord Atrium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept. 27: In partnership with University Program Board’s Thwing Tuesday program, the organizations will host the Education Service Fair from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Sept. 29: Enjoy a friendly game of “Are You Smarter Than a Pi Phi/Phi Psi,” which will take place in Strosacker Auditorium at 7 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 30: The groups will hold their annual Pie a Pi Phi/Phi Psi on the Case Quad in front of the Charles William Bingham Mechanical Engineering Building from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pie a President will be held during community hour.
- Saturday, Oct. 1: They will hold a campuswide book sort at the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank with the first sort from 10 a.m. to noon and the second from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
