Students who are still in the Cleveland area can volunteer at University Farm on Fridays in June and July this summer from 9:25 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Transportation and lunch will be provided.
The University Farm, owned by Case Western Reserve, is 389 acres of land consisting of forestry, ravines, waterfalls, meadows, ponds and a self-contained natural watershed. Volunteers will help with a variety of farm tasks, including working in the greenhouse, crop maintenance, trail maintenance or harvesting produce.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle and should wear old clothes, sturdy shoes and sunscreen.
