The Center for Statistical Research, Computing and Collaboration (SR2c) will offer free statistical consulting sessions at the Case Western Reserve University Research ShowCASE, held at the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center on Friday, April 17.
Each consulting session will be 10 minutes and will be available from 11 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m. Sign ups will begin when doors open for Research ShowCASE; come early as appointments are first come, first serve.
Those who plan to attend the consulting sessions should bring the appropriate materials that will support the description of their problem, such as graphs, data, etc. Participants should be prepared to discuss their study goal concisely.
Participants are encouraged to check out the center’s multimedia booth and ask the staff questions. The center will also have research posters concerning topics such as real-time image data analysis, introduction of its ovarian cancer survivorship study, crowdsourcing in epidemiological research, and some of their collaborative projects, such as an investigation of women’s fertility.
