The American Constitution Society will host State Rep. Connie Pillich, a lawyer and Air Force veteran, on Thursday, April 10, at noon in the School of Law, room A58.
Among other topics, Pillich will discuss how her service as a veteran has helped form her beliefs and style of governance.
In the United States Air Force, Pillich served in support of Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and subsequently attended the University of Cincinnati law school. One of her achievements in practice was winning a case before the Ohio Supreme Court concerning land use voting rights.
Pillich is serving her third term representing the 28th Ohio House District, which lies just outside of Cincinnati. She is ranking member of the Veteran Affairs Committee and is a member of the Criminal Justice and the Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committees.
This will be a catered lunch. All are invited to attend. Contact Scott Bison at sxb667@case.edu with any questions.
