As part of its Global Talk Spring Series, the Center for International Affairs will present “Developing Short-Term Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs” on Thursday, Feb. 6, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence (located on the lower level of Crawford Hall).
All faculty and staff members are invited to hear from a panel of CWRU faculty members on best practices (across the country and at Case Western Reserve University) to develop new Case Western Reserve short-term faculty-led study abroad programs.
The panel will discuss how to get started, resources available, curriculum design, how courses become approved, risk-management policies, logistics, and everything else employees would need to know to create their own study abroad course. All levels of experience with short-term programs are welcome.
