As a fundraiser for Universal Cheerleaders Association Nationals, CWRU Club Cheer is offering a “Lil Spartans” cheer camp program for kids in grades K-8. No experience is required and all kids are welcome. The campus will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center. After the camp, participants will be invited to cheer during the first half of the football game, which begins at 6 p.m. Participants must arrive for the game by 4:30 p.m.
At the day camp, children will learn basic cheer motions, jumps, dances and stunts. CWRU Club Cheer will choreograph a mini cheer routine for the kids to perform at the varsity game.
Registration costs $60 for the first child in a family, and $50 for any additional siblings registered.
Registration fees will cover a pizza lunch and camp shirt. Upon registration, extra details regarding pickup, dropoff, parking locations and itinerary will be provided.
