Faculty and staff members are invited to join the Wellness Program, the Professional Development Center, and author and positive psychology expert Stella Grizont for a book launch series to enhance career well-being and build community at the university.
Over eight weeks, participants will be guided through experiential active learning based on the content of Grizont’s new book, The Work Happiness Method. Each week, participants will meet and focus on one key inner skill covered in the book. A copy of the book will be provided for each participant.
Participants will learn:
- The three psychological traps that sabotage your happiness and success—and how to avoid them;
- The power of emotions on your vision, decision making and how to steer yourself toward greater possibilities; and
- How to stop comparing yourself to others and focus on what brings you great energy.
This series will take place on Thursdays from March 28 through May 16 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. These sessions will not be recorded, so consider your availability to attend the live Zoom sessions each week.
