You can transform your garden cucumbers into pickles with the power of homemade vinegar or salt fermentation. Join the Case Western Reserve University Farm for a pickling workshop titled “From Cucumbers to Pickles” Saturday, Aug. 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at farm in Hunting Valley.
This beginner-level workshop will include a demonstration on food preservation for home gardeners. Participants will make a few “fridge pickles” to take home.
