“The Nature Prescription”

Benefits-eligible faculty and staff members are invited to the fifth presentation in the Wellness Program’s Environmental Health series.

Titled “The Nature Prescription,” this session will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

During this event, Jay Maddock will discuss the growing body of evidence examining the relationship between improved health and well-being and time spent in nature.

Topics will include dose, measuring nature exposure, health benefits and potential pathways through which nature improves health. The development of evidence-based interventions to increase time in nature, particularly those that address health disparities, also will be covered.

Register to attend this session.

Those who are enrolled in the Environmental Health series are already registered for this event.
