The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education’s (UCITE) popular Learning Fellows Program will continue with a fall 2021 cohort. This program provides teaching faculty with an interdisciplinary learning community of peer colleagues. Learning Fellowships are available to part-time, full-time, non-tenure track and tenure track teaching faculty.
The Learning Fellows is a semester-long program. The teaching faculty cohort will meet each Thursday starting Aug. 26 and ending Dec. 2 from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Faculty who complete the 14-week program receive a $2,000 grant for academic purposes.
This program is for any faculty member who wants to change their teaching practices—not just new faculty members. Those who participated in the fellowship prior to 2017 also are invited to apply for the fall 2021 cohort, as the program has changed significantly since then.
