Students for Refugees, a new Case Western Reserve University student organization, is forming to provide awareness and engagement around the experiences of refugees. The club is recruiting undergraduate students to virtually tutor students in elementary school through high school who are refugees.
Tutors will work with students for a minimum of two to three hours once per week this fall semester to provide extra support to families during the Cleveland Metropolitan School District’s remote start to the school year.
Tutor recruitment will conclude at the end of August, and tutoring will begin in early September.
