Participants needed for research in developmental dyslexia

Department of Communication Sciences Case Western Reserve University

Participants are needed for a Speech and Reading Study (SpARS) for children with a diagnosis of dyslexia.

We are looking for children between the ages of 8 and 14 years of age who have a diagnosis of dyslexia with no history of speech difficulties.

Children will undergo an evaluation of decoding, phonological processing and oral language skills during one day of testing at the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center (weekday and weekend appointments available).

Parents will receive a comprehensive report of their child’s literacy skills and children will be compensated for their time. A stipend for lunch is also provided.
