About the Mandel School’s study abroad opportunities
The Mandel School will offer seven short-term, faculty-led, three-credit study abroad courses this year. These study abroad courses are open to all undergraduate and graduate students at Case Western Reserve University of any major. These international opportunities are designed to enable students to see comparative social service and health care systems and gain new insights into the needs of people in the U.S. and abroad. The courses promote student interaction with communities, international policy makers and direct-service providers.
Course topics include social welfare, social justice, health care, global health, mental health, substance abuse, macro social and economic issues.
