What’s your favorite thing about CWRU?
I’ve had several personal and professional development opportunities through the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of Residence Life and the Office of Education Abroad. I love that I’m becoming a well-rounded student, and importantly, I’m becoming a global citizen.
Every Friday afternoon from 1 to 2 p.m., students can stop by Tomlinson Hall, Room 143, to meet their peers who have spent time abroad. During these Study Abroad Ambassador walk-in hours, students may meet Hannah Clarke, who has studied abroad in sub-Saharan Africa, where she interned at a health center in Senegal. During that time, she lived with a host family, allowing her to have the opportunity for full language and cultural immersion. “Experience informs how people interact with the world, so I encourage all CWRU students to consider studying abroad as a way to broaden their understanding of the world,” Clarke said.
