On Saturday Sept. 21 from 1:30 to 3 p.m., Next Level Fitness Studio will host DEFEND: Level 1-The Basics, a self-defense workshop, for those interested in learning how to protect themselves in an assault.
In this interactive introduction to security, participants will learn the simple techniques in fending off an attacker. From the basic fighting stance to getting out of an attacker’s arms and taking them to the ground, participants will leave the workshop with the goal of feeling confident, empowered and wanting to learn more in Level 2.
Students pay $25 in advance and $30 at the door. All others pay $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
