The midpoint of the university’s Presidential Inauguration Week comes with a bonus: Instead of just one day to get 21% discounts on Case Western Reserve University gear at the campus Barnes & Noble bookstore, members of the campus community now get three.

Faculty, staff, and students can get the savings on CWRU shirts, hats, pens, pins and more starting today and continuing through closing on Friday—so long as they show their university ID. With President Eric Kaler’s ceremony at 4 p.m. Friday and Homecoming starting next week, the discounts offer an ideal opportunity to get gear that shows campus spirit.

Tomorrow people can pick up free eclairs at the KSL Oval, and on Friday they’ll get 10% discounts on food and drink at BRB, Pinza and Cool Beanz. Finally, members of the CWRU community who show their university IDs can get 10% off purchases at Mitchell’s Ice Cream in Uptown.

Also, students can gather on the Case Quad just south of Amasa Stone Chapel Friday to see the ceremony live on a large digital screen (rain location, Strosacker Auditorium); in either instance, refreshments will be provided.
