It’s likely no surprise: When asked what people are looking forward to most with the start of the school year, it’s being reunited with old—or making brand-new—friends. More than half (55 percent) of respondents said that’s the No. 1 thing they’re excited about this year, followed by starting new classes (21 percent) and having students back on campus (14 percent). Other answers included enjoying free food at campus events and starting college for the very first time.
