Northeast Ohio Public Policy Forums: “’Ohio Drug Price Relief Act’ Ballot Issue: A look at both sides”

The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program’s Northeast Ohio Public Policy Forums series continues with a discussion titled “’Ohio Drug Price Relief Act’ Ballot Issue: A look at both sides.”

The Ohio Drug Price Relief Act is a citizen-initiated statute slated for the November ballot. It would require the state of Ohio to pay no more for prescription drugs than the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which has negotiated a discount of up to 40 percent. Forum panelists will include individuals on both sides of the issue.

Jeremy Pelzer, a politics reporter for Cleveland.com, will moderate the discussion.

This event will be held Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cuyahoga County Public Library Bay Village branch (502 Cahoon Road, Bay Village).
