An evening with David Grossman

The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host a talk by writer David Grossman, author of A Horse Walks into a Bar, Monday, April 9, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at The Temple – Tifereth Israel.

Grossman is one of Israel’s most celebrated writers, a winner of countless awards and the only Israeli ever to win the prestigious Man Booker International Prize.

His novel A Horse Walks into a Bar is set in a comedy club in a small Israeli town where an audience awaits an evening of amusement, but instead become witness to the comedian’s personal hell. Grossman addresses human suffering, society, truth and love.

The Maltz Performing Arts Center will handle all ticket sales.

For Siegal Lifelong Learning members, tickets cost $18 or $75 for premium. Nonmember tickets cost $28 or $95 for premium.

Free tickets are available for Case Western Reserve University students.
